In 2016 I quit my job and moved to Ireland to follow my passion! I was successful in getting a place on the prestigious Ceramics Skills Course in Thomastown Co.Kilkenny.
It was an intensive 2 year program, learning all aspects of ceramics skills and design I had the privilege of being trained by established potters and I loved every minute.
Since returning to Hartlepool I have set up my own studio where I design and produce a range of tableware.
My pots are thrown on the potters wheel, trimmed, handled, fired, glazed and fired again to stoneware temperature. I welcome commissions and I have just started up my pottery classes again.
I have exhibited my work in galleries in Dublin, Kilkenny, Wexford and York.
